Refund Policy
Last updated: October 7, 2026
This Refund Policy applies to every plan and credit pack bought on imagevideoai.app. Before you pay, you can see how the models handle your own photos: guests get one free video each day, and a free account adds signup credits and free daily credits. If something here is unclear, write to [email protected].
At a glance
- Credits from a failed generation return to your balance automatically.
- Every charge can be refunded in full within 7 days, as long as none of the credits it added have been spent.
- A refund ends what that charge paid for, straight away.
- Cancelling a subscription stops the next renewal but does not refund the current period.
Failed generations cost nothing
When a generation fails, the credits it used go back to your balance by themselves. You do not need to email us or fill in a form, and the returned credits can be spent again right away. Each credit returns to the balance it was taken from, so credits whose time ran out while the video was running, such as signup credits past their 30 days, stay expired. This is separate from the money refunds below. A video that finishes but looks different from what you had in mind does not count as failed, so its credits are not returned. Every video's credit cost is shown before you start, which lets you try a cheaper model or a lower resolution first.
The 7-day full refund
You can get your money back for a charge when both of these are true:
- You ask within 7 days of the date of that charge.
- None of the credits that the charge added to your account have been used.
Subscription payments
The rule covers every subscription payment, not only the first one. Monthly renewals, annual payments and the very first charge of a Starter, Pro or Max plan are all treated the same way. So if a plan renews before you remember to cancel, you can still get that renewal back while its credits are untouched.
Credit packs
A credit pack is a single purchase that never renews. A pack you have not spent any credits from can be refunded within 7 days of buying it. Once some of its credits have been used, that pack can no longer be refunded, because the videos have already been generated.
What happens after a refund
The period paid for by the refunded charge ends immediately. For a subscription, the plan is cancelled and its credits are removed. For a credit pack, the pack's credits are removed. In both cases the paid features that came with the purchase stop, and your account returns to the free tier unless another plan or credit pack is still active.
Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel a plan at any time. Choose Manage billing in your account menu or on the pricing page, and cancel in the Stripe billing portal that opens. Cancelling stops future renewals only. You keep the plan, and the credits issued for the current month, until your paid period runs out, and no further charge is made. On annual billing, a new month of credits keeps arriving until the paid year is over. Cancelling on its own does not return money for the current period; if that period's charge is less than 7 days old and you have not used its credits, you can still ask for a refund under the rule above.
How to ask for a refund
Email [email protected] from the email address on your account. Include the date of the charge and, if you have it, the receipt or order number from Stripe. We reply within 5 business days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method used for the charge; the time it takes for the money to appear depends on your bank or card issuer.
Exceptions
We may decline a refund for an account that has abused the free tiers, opened a chargeback for the same payment, or broken our Terms of Service. If you plan to dispute a charge with your bank, please email us first; most problems are quicker to settle directly. Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under the consumer law that applies to you.
Plan prices, credit amounts and what each plan includes are on our pricing page. How we handle the data tied to your purchases is described in our Privacy Policy.
