The Best InVideo Alternative
InVideo AI is an agent-driven editor that scripts, cuts and assembles whole projects on a timeline. If you only need one photo turned into a short clip, this InVideo alternative is a smaller tool: one upload, one model, the credit price shown up front.
Where InVideo Stands in October 2026
InVideo now presents its product as Agent Two, which it calls an agentic video editor. Its editing agent watches the footage you upload, logs every clip so you can find a moment by describing it, and applies one instruction to all the shots on a multitrack timeline that you can take over by hand. Around that sit:
- Storyboards and scripts. A script or idea becomes a shot-by-shot plan, with an AI co-writer if you want one.
- Multiplayer editing. Live cursors and comments, with several seats on every plan.
- Professional tools. Color, audio and 3D tools, premium stock footage, and 4K export of your own footage.
- A long model list. Its help center prices Kling 4.0 and 3.0, Seedance 2.5 and 2.0, Veo 3.1, MiniMax H3, Hailuo 2.3, Wan 3.0, Grok Imagine, PixVerse V6, Runway Gen-4.5, Gemini Omni Flash and a set of lip-sync and avatar models, all at what InVideo calls their original API pricing.
- Your own agent. Claude, ChatGPT Codex, Grok or Gemini can be connected to drive the editor.
So InVideo AI text to video no longer means one prompt and one clip. You describe a whole video, and agents write, generate, edit and score it.
InVideo AI Pricing, as of October 2026
| InVideo plan | Billed monthly | Billed yearly | Credits per seat each month | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $20 per seat | $10 a month per seat | 400 | Agent Two Lite only; Seedance 2.0 Fast and Mini, but not Seedance 2.0 or 2.5 |
| Plus | $60 per seat | $30 a month per seat | 2,000 | All agents and models, including Seedance 2.5 at 1080p and Seedance 2.0 at 4K |
| Max | $150 per seat | $75 a month per seat | 5,000 | Lowest cost per credit |
The yearly prices reflect a 50% discount shown on the pricing page in October 2026, so they may change. Unused credits don't roll over, and InVideo says it may change credit costs at any time without notice. The pricing page doesn't list a free plan, but its help center says one exists: no card needed, a limited credit allowance, reset every Monday at midnight UTC. Watermark-free export appears among the paid-plan features. Some older billing help pages still show previous plan names such as Basic and Ultra, so treat the pricing page as current. Refunds are reviewed case by case, and cancelling does not trigger one.
What ImageVideoAI Offers as an InVideo AI Alternative
ImageVideoAI does a much narrower job. There's no script, timeline, stock library, voiceover or team seat. You upload a photo or type a prompt, pick a model (Seedance, Kling, Veo, Wan, MiniMax H3, Hailuo, Grok Imagine, PixVerse or Vidu), and download one clip. If your InVideo projects mostly start with "animate this image" or a single prompt, you may not need the editor around it. Our text to video AI page covers the prompt-only route.
Price of the Same Clip
InVideo publishes a credit range for each model, from its cheapest setting at the shortest length to its most expensive at the longest, and says video is priced per second. Assuming the per-second rate stays the same as length changes, here is our estimate of one clip on each site's entry plan, billed monthly: InVideo Starter at about 5 cents a credit, our Starter at about 2 cents.
| Same clip | InVideo Starter, estimated | ImageVideoAI Starter |
|---|---|---|
| Kling 3.0, 720p, 5 s | About 17 credits, about $0.84 | 42 credits, about $0.84 |
| Seedance 2.0 Fast, 720p, 5 s | About 34 credits, about $1.70 | 105 credits, about $2.10 |
| Veo 3.1 Lite, 720p, 8 s | About 10 credits, about $0.48 | 65 credits, about $1.30 |
Per clip, InVideo is level with us on Kling 3.0 and cheaper on Seedance 2.0 Fast and Veo 3.1 Lite, and its yearly billing halves those figures again. We aren't the budget route for those models. Starter also covers only selected models, so check that the one you want is included. Our Kling AI video generator page lists every setting and its credit price.

When InVideo Is the Better Pick
InVideo is the stronger tool for a lot of work, and switching only makes sense if your use is narrow. Stay with it if:
- You make finished videos, not single shots. Scripts, storyboards, cuts, music and captions happen in one place. ImageVideoAI has none of that.
- You work as a team. Shared seats, live cursors and guest seats have no equivalent here.
- You want models we don't carry. Runway Gen-4.5, Gemini Omni Flash, Luma Ray 3.2 and the lip-sync and avatar models are on InVideo's list and not on ours.
- You generate a lot on a yearly plan. At $10 a month for 400 credits, many models cost less per clip than they do here.
ImageVideoAI fits better when you only need short clips from a photo, want to pay $9.99 a month without a team plan or a yearly commitment, would like a free guest clip every day, or want a fixed refund window. Our pricing page sets out each plan and credit pack, and the Runway alternative guide looks at another editor-first suite.
InVideo Alternative FAQ
Is InVideo AI free?
Partly. InVideo's help center says you can use it for free without a card, on a limited credit allowance that resets every Monday at midnight UTC, but the October 2026 pricing page doesn't list a free plan or say how many credits it holds. Paid plans start at $20 a month per seat. ImageVideoAI gives one free guest clip a day without an account.
How much does InVideo AI cost in 2026?
As of October 2026, InVideo AI pricing is $20, $60 or $150 a month per seat for Starter, Plus and Max, with 400, 2,000 and 5,000 credits. Billed yearly, the page showed $10, $30 and $75 a month under a 50% promotion. Unused credits expire each month, and Seedance 2.0 and 2.5 need Plus or above.
Does InVideo add a watermark on the free plan?
InVideo lists watermark-free export as a feature of its paid plans, which suggests free exports carry one, though the help article on the free plan doesn't spell it out. Check an export before you rely on it. On ImageVideoAI, free clips are watermarked, and buying any plan or credit pack gets you clean files.
Is ImageVideoAI an InVideo AI alternative for full videos?
No. ImageVideoAI is an InVideo AI alternative only for the generation step: one photo or prompt becomes one short clip. It has no script writer, timeline, stock footage, voiceover or captions, so a finished multi-scene video still needs an editor. You can generate clips here and assemble them in the editor you already use.
Is ImageVideoAI affiliated with InVideo?
No. ImageVideoAI isn't affiliated with InVideo and doesn't offer Agent Two or any InVideo tool. Both sites resell some of the same models, including Kling, Seedance, Veo, MiniMax H3 and Wan, at different credit prices, so compare the exact model, resolution and length you use before deciding where to generate.
