PixVerse V6 on ImageVideoAI: Settings at a Glance

V6 is built by PixVerse (AISphere), and it is the one PixVerse version offered here. It sits in the model menu as a family of its own, and the generator on this page is locked to that family, so every setting below is what you actually get when you press the button.

SettingV6 on this site
InputA photo as the start frame, an optional end frame, or a text prompt
Clip length5, 8, 10 or 15 seconds
Resolution360p, 540p, 720p or 1080p
SoundOptional switch that adds credits
Frame shapeFollows the photo; text prompts offer 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3 or 3:4
Starting setting720p, 5 seconds, sound off, for 29 credits

The length menu has four fixed stops rather than a slider, so a 6- or 12-second clip isn't possible; pick the nearest stop and plan the action to fit it. Resolution works like a price dial. The two lower tiers are cheap enough for trying ideas, 720p is where the tool opens, and 1080p roughly doubles the 720p price for a sharper final file.

What V6 Does Well Here

These strengths come from the settings this site exposes for the model:

  • Transitions between two photos. Upload a start frame and an end frame, and V6 animates the path from one to the other: a before-and-after, a day turning into night, a product appearing on an empty table.
  • A wide price range. Four resolutions spread a 5-second silent clip from 16 credits at 360p to 57 at 1080p.
  • Sound only when you ask. The audio switch starts off, so silent drafts stay cheaper and you pay for sound only on the take you keep.
  • Five shapes for text prompts. Besides vertical, widescreen and square, text-only clips can be 4:3 or 3:4, handy for feeds and portrait displays.
  • Up to 15 seconds. Enough room for two or three actions in a row inside one clip.

What Isn't Included

PixVerse's own app wraps the model in extra tools, and those stay there. ImageVideoAI has no PixVerse effects or templates, no Swap, no lip sync, no 4K output and none of the other features specific to that app. ImageVideoAI is an independent site and isn't affiliated with PixVerse. What you get here is V6 itself, with photo, two-photo and text inputs, priced in our own credits.

Credits Per PixVerse Clip

Each combination of resolution, length and sound has a fixed price, and you see it before confirming. A failed render costs nothing, because the full amount is put back on your balance.

Resolution5 s, silent5 s, with soundGood for
360p1622Testing motion and prompt wording
540p2229Cheap drafts you can still judge
720p2938Everyday clips, and the starting setting
1080p5773Final files at full HD

Longer clips scale with the seconds. At 720p a silent clip works out to roughly 5.6 credits per second, or 7.5 with sound; at 1080p it is about 11.3 silent and 14.4 with sound. The top setting, 15 seconds at 1080p with sound, costs 217 credits.

For scale, a 5-second 720p clip on Kling 3.0 costs 42 credits, while Seedance 1.0 Pro Fast at 480p and 5 seconds costs 6. V6 at 720p lands between the cheapest drafts on this site and the pricier families.

A free account opens with 30 credits to use within 30 days, which covers one default PixVerse clip at 29. After that, 5 credits arrive each day and reset instead of adding up, which is less than the cheapest PixVerse setting. Anything rendered for free is watermarked, with a ceiling of 720p and 10 seconds, so 1080p and 15-second clips need a plan or a credit pack. On Starter, 500 monthly credits come to about 17 default V6 clips; monthly, yearly and one-off choices sit side by side under plans and credits, so pick whichever fits how often you render.

Visitors without an account get one free video a day, but it always uses Seedance 1.0 Pro Fast, silent and 5 seconds long at 480p, never PixVerse.

How to Use PixVerse Image to Video

  1. Upload the start frame. Images in JPG, PNG or WebP format work, as long as they stay under 10 MB. The clip keeps the photo's shape, so crop it first if you want vertical or square.
  2. Add an end frame for a transition. A second photo turns the clip into a move from the first image to the second. Leave the slot empty for a plain animation.
  3. Describe the motion. Say what moves, how the camera behaves and, if sound is on, what should be heard.
  4. Set length, resolution and sound. The credit figure updates with every change.
  5. Generate and download. A 360p, 5-second test with sound on this site was ready in about two minutes.

No photo at hand? Switch the generator to text mode, write the scene and pick one of the five frame shapes. The text to video AI page explains that mode across every model family.

Prompt Tips for V6, With Three Examples

  1. Fit the action to the length you picked. Five seconds holds one movement; 10 or 15 seconds can carry two or three in order.
  2. For transitions, write about the change. The two photos already fix the opening and the closing image, so spend your words on how one becomes the other.
  3. Name the subject as it appears. "The woman in the yellow raincoat" anchors the motion better than "she".
  4. Keep sound requests modest. With sound on, name the setting's ambience, such as rain, wind or a busy café. The test clip mentioned above came back with quiet background audio, so add music or a voice in an editor afterwards.
  5. Draft low, finish high. Settle the motion at 360p or 540p, then render the keeper at 720p or 1080p.

Three prompts that suit the model:

The woman in the yellow raincoat steps off the curb and opens her umbrella as rain begins, the camera slowly pulling back at street level, puddles rippling around her boots.
Start frame: a bare wooden table in morning light. End frame: the same table set for breakfast. Plates, cups and a small vase slide into place one by one, static overhead shot.
Text prompt, 3:4. A potter shapes wet clay on a spinning wheel, close-up on her hands, warm studio light, the low hum of the wheel.

PixVerse vs Kling vs Wan

Each of these accepts a photo or a typed prompt, and a single upload on the image to video AI homepage reaches all three of them.

Kuaishou's family is the step up when you need 4K or several shots planned inside one generation, and its 4.0 version runs to 30 seconds with sound on every take. Its versions are set out one by one in our Kling AI video generator guide, with credits for each.

Alibaba's model accepts any whole length from 2 to 30 seconds, which helps when the four fixed stops don't suit a scene, though a 720p clip costs about twice as much. For its length grid and prices, read our Wan AI video generator overview before you switch.

If you started in PixVerse's own app and want to know when another family fits better, the PixVerse alternative guide looks at it from that side.

PixVerse FAQ

Is PixVerse AI free to use here?

Partly. A new account gets 30 credits, valid for 30 days, which pays for one default V6 clip at 720p, 5 seconds and no sound, priced at 29. The daily 5 reset rather than build up, and on their own they buy no clip, since the cheapest setting costs 16. Free clips also carry a watermark, top out at 720p and run 10 seconds at most, and the one free daily video for guests runs on Seedance, not PixVerse.

What is PixVerse V6?

V6 is the video model from PixVerse (AISphere), and the only PixVerse version on ImageVideoAI. Here it turns a photo, a pair of photos or a text prompt into a clip of 5, 8, 10 or 15 seconds at 360p, 540p, 720p or 1080p, with sound as an option. A silent 5-second clip at 720p costs 29 credits, and the tool shows the price before you render.

Does V6 generate sound?

Yes, when you switch sound on, and that raises the price: a 5-second clip at 720p goes from 29 to 38 credits, and at 1080p from 57 to 73. A 360p test with sound produced quiet ambient audio, so think of it as atmosphere rather than a soundtrack. For music or a voice, lay it over the clip in an editor afterwards.

Can I make a transition between two photos?

Yes. Upload a start frame, add the optional end frame, and V6 animates the move from the first image to the second. It suits before-and-after shots, room makeovers or a product appearing in a scene. The clip follows the shape of your photos, so it helps to use two images with the same framing and orientation, and to describe the change in the prompt.

Is this the official PixVerse AI app?

No. ImageVideoAI is independent and not affiliated with PixVerse. We offer V6 alongside other model families and charge our own credits, which are separate from any PixVerse plan. PixVerse effects and templates, Swap, lip sync, 4K and the app's own features aren't available here. This page describes how V6 works on ImageVideoAI, not inside PixVerse's app.

How long can a PixVerse video be?

On this site, 5, 8, 10 or 15 seconds, with nothing in between. Free accounts can choose up to 10 seconds, while 15 needs a paid plan or a credit pack. The price grows with length: at 720p without sound, expect roughly 5.6 credits per second, and the longest, sharpest setting with sound costs 217 credits.
