Image to video · Five model families
The Best PixVerse Alternative
PixVerse is a creation platform built around its own V6 model, with templates and apps on top. If you want a PixVerse alternative for turning a photo into a clip with Kling, Veo, Seedance, Hailuo or Wan, ImageVideoAI shows each credit price first.
What PixVerse Is Today
PixVerse is a broad creation platform rather than a single model. As of October 2026 its flagship is PixVerse V6, which the site describes as 1080p video with native audio. Alongside it sit C1 and R2, the latter billed as a real-time world model, and the platform also offers outside models such as Seedance 2.5, Seedance 2 and MiniMax H3.
V6 handles both text and photo input. The official model page says it can animate images into motion, and the PixVerse image to video flow adds options that go well beyond a single upload:
- clips up to 15 seconds at 1080p, with dialogue, sound effects and ambience generated alongside the picture;
- native multi-shot scenes and aspect ratio control;
- a first and last frame mode called Transition, plus Fusion for reference images;
- Extend, Modify and Lip Sync for working on an existing clip;
- a large template and effects catalog, along with Mini-Apps, a Marketing Hub, Canvas, an agent and a CLI.
That is a lot of product. People look for a PixVerse alternative for practical reasons: they want a specific outside model such as Kling 3.0 or Veo 3.1, they want to see a per-clip price before committing, or they only need photo-to-video and not the rest of the toolkit.
PixVerse Pricing and Free Credits
Here is what can be stated with confidence as of October 2026, and what cannot.
The web subscription prices could not be confirmed. The subscription page sits behind a bot check, and third-party summaries of plan prices and credit amounts do not agree with each other, so this page does not repeat them. Check the PixVerse app itself for current plan prices and any free credits on signup.
The developer API price is published. PixVerse's platform docs state that one dollar buys five V6 videos at 720p and 5 seconds without audio, which works out to about $0.20 per clip. That is an API rate for developers, billed separately from the consumer app, so it is not the price a web subscriber pays per clip.
Watermark rules on the free tier were not confirmed either. If a clean export matters, download a free clip and look. Our own free output is watermarked; paid output is clean.
What You Get on ImageVideoAI Instead
ImageVideoAI does not run PixVerse's own models, so V6, C1 and R2 are not available here. What we offer is a focused photo-to-video tool with five model families and published credit costs:
| Model (720p and 5 seconds unless noted) | Credits | Approximate cost on Starter |
|---|---|---|
| Seedance 1.0 Pro Fast, silent | 14 | $0.28 |
| Kling 2.5 Turbo, silent | 19 | $0.38 |
| MiniMax H3, with sound | 30 | $0.60 |
| Kling 3.0, sound off | 42 | $0.84 |
| Veo 3.1 Fast at 1080p for 8 seconds, with sound | 129 | $2.58 |
As with V6, sound can come with the picture here: Wan 3.0 and the Seedance 2.x versions produce audio, as do Veo 3.1 and H3, and Kling 3.0 does when you turn sound on. Clip length depends on the model, from Veo's 4, 6 or 8 seconds up to half a minute with Wan 3.0 or Seedance 2.5. To test H3 on a photo, open our Hailuo AI video generator page.
PixVerse vs ImageVideoAI at a Glance
| PixVerse | ImageVideoAI | |
|---|---|---|
| In-house video model | PixVerse V6, plus C1 and R2 | None; models come from Kuaishou, Google, ByteDance, MiniMax and Alibaba |
| Longest clip | 15 seconds on V6 | Up to 30 seconds (Wan 3.0, Seedance 2.5) |
| Top resolution | 1080p | Up to 4K, depending on the model |
| Native audio | Yes, on V6 | Yes, on many of the models listed above |
| Lip sync | Yes | No |
| Templates and effects | Large catalog | Three presets: kiss, hug and dance |
| Subscription prices | Could not be verified in October 2026 | From $9.99 a month (500 credits) to $79.99 (4,000) |
| Price per clip | API: about $0.20 for V6 at 720p, 5 s, no audio | Shown in credits before each render |
The honest summary: PixVerse has more tools around the clip, and its API rate for V6 is low. ImageVideoAI has a narrower toolset, more choice of outside models, longer maximum clips on two families, and a credit price you see up front.
When PixVerse Is the Better Choice
Stay with PixVerse if you need lip sync, a large template library, or features for editing an existing clip such as Extend and Modify. Its V6 FAQ highlights multi-shot storytelling, its site pitches the product to marketing and short drama teams, and if that is your workflow, the platform is built around it. Developers who only need V6 output at volume may also find its API rate hard to beat.
Switch, or use both, if what you need is a photo animated by a particular outside model. Upload once, run the photo through two or three of the five families, and compare. Our Kling AI video generator page explains the three Kling versions we run, and the best image to video AI roundup puts more tools side by side.
PixVerse Alternative FAQ
Are there PixVerse AI free credits for new users?
Possibly, but we could not confirm the details. As of October 2026, PixVerse's subscription page was behind a bot check, and third-party reports of its signup and daily free credits disagree. Check the PixVerse app for its current offer. On ImageVideoAI, signing up adds 30 credits that expire after 30 days, about two silent 720p Seedance 1.0 Pro Fast clips, and the 5 daily credits are too few for a clip on their own.
Is PixVerse AI free to use?
There is a free way in, but the exact limits were not confirmed for this page, so look at PixVerse AI free plan terms in the app itself. ImageVideoAI's free tier is documented: guests can render one watermarked clip daily with no account, and a free account adds daily credits, capped at 720p and watermarked.
Can I use PixVerse V6 on ImageVideoAI?
No. ImageVideoAI does not offer PixVerse V6 or any other PixVerse model. We run Kling, Veo 3.1, Seedance, Hailuo and Wan 3.0. If you specifically need V6 output, use PixVerse directly or its developer API, which lists V6 at 720p and 5 seconds for about $0.20 per clip as of October 2026.
Which PixVerse alternative is closest for image to video?
For photo-to-video with sound, the closest matches here are MiniMax H3 at 30 credits for a 720p, 5-second clip, and Kling 3.0, which offers sound as an option and starts at 42 credits for a silent 720p, 5-second clip. Both accept a first and last frame, similar to PixVerse's Transition mode. Neither is the PixVerse AI video generator itself, so test your own photo on each.
